Berkshires Birth Circle

I attended the Birth Circle meeting in Great Barrington last night at the NOAH Center. There was a great turnout of moms and midwives from MA, CT, and NY. Many moms were saddened by the lack of options of CNM prtactices in the area that didn’t involve significant drives.  It is a shame that the Berkshire Medical Center shutdown the midwifery practice.

There was a lot a great energy in the room and all sorts of ideas were shared about upcoming meetings and film festivals, so stay tuned!

There are more birth circle meetings next week in Boston and north of Boston.
