What does the swine flu have to do with midwifery?

As most recently posted in the Our Bodies, Our Selves blog, the swine flu gives another reason to advocate for out-of-hospital births. Not only for the better care that the mother and baby will receive, but so that medical staff and hospital beds are made available to those who are sick and who need them!
